The fresh Corn silk comes from a local organic farmer, and the dried Saw Palmetto berries and Codonopsis roots come from another domestic herb supplier we trust and have worked with for many years.

Taste / Energetics: slightly sweet, moistening, cooling, supportive.

Plant Profiles:

• Cleavers (Galium aparine) - This humble plant loves to grow on the edges of our gardens, often in damp soil, suggesting some of its gifts. Cleavers deeply supports lymphatic circulation, especially lymph node health. The long and vibrant leafy stalks of Cleavers have long been valued for their "cleaning" and detoxifying quality.
• Corn (Zea mays) silk - It is the silks, not the kernels, that we use in this formula for their extraordinarily soothing and moistening qualities that encourage comfort, particularly for the urinary system.
• Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) - Saw Palmetto is a low-growing palm-style tree native to the Southeastern United States. It is abundant in Florida. The berries are very beneficial to the urinary and reproductive systems of the body and have traditionally been eaten as food.
• Codonopsis (Codonopsis pilosula) - This lovely, vining perennial herb makes a beautiful, cup-shaped flower. The root of Codonopsis is sweet and moistening and is added to this formula for nourishing and strengthening the immune and endocrine systems.
• Marshmallow (Althea officinalis) - The white, moistening root of the Marshmallow plant is known as a demulcent, a plant action that soothes and protects the mucous membranes and tissues of the body.
